Yup, I'd be well up for an informal meet up when the weather is a little better, there is plenty of us in the North East, somewhere like south shields would be good in nice weather, it'd give the corsa brigade something to look at too

Haven't had a chance to drive the Punto yet, couple of miles home last night and 15 miles to work this morning so I'm gonna have a drive along the coast as far as S Shields tonight. Should be able to find the odd Corsa or two to annoy [8D]

is the 1.4 sporing 6 speed? and much faster than 1.2?

The 1.4 is six speed and up 15BHP on the 1.2 which makes it 95BHP.

Yes thanks James, everything matches fine now, only a squeaky drivers door handle to put right...and I can't get used to the bloody gear box, I must look like an L driver :I

I think the 1.4 is a fair bit quicker than the 1.2.

The new active sport 1.2 16v must be similar now to the old sporting I reckon.

I'd still love a razz in the JTD HGT Punto I originally ordered
