Def a lot better, though it kills quite a few sites i use!! So I have to switch to Firefox (shudder) for somethings....

kept closing on me when i started using it an i mean any explorer screens i had open just dissapeared. seems to have stopped doing it now though!

Jusy about to download this, then noted this at the bottom of the page:
"Evaluation of Internet Explorer 7 should start now, but the software should not be used on production systems in mission-critical environments. Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview will only run on Windows® XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) systems, but will ultimately be available for Windows Vista, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, and Windows Server 2003."
So does this mean I won't be able to get the official release? I am running XP Pro, not 64 edition. If so, does this mean being stuck with the beta unless I upgrade my o/s?

No the way I read it is it is only available for XP pro at the moment for the others later.

Ok - I think - I may just download it then; but I don't want to be stuck with something that is buggy, etc.
