Hi all.I need some advice on what is likely to acheive a better sound..just a follow on from an earlier post.
Firstly I already have a sub & 2ch amp installed with 6x9's(unamped) and some aftermarket fronts(unamped).I'm looking to expand on this so I was wondering what would be the better option to acheive a better balance of sound...
Remove the 6x9's,installing a set of components in the front and amping them or buying a 4ch amp and amping the 6x9's and the components &sub from it.I would ideally prefer to remove the 6x9's for security purposes.
What would you recommend
Thankyou
Peter.

If you want a nice crisp sound get the 6x9's amped, but made a new shealth shelf and install them underneath it, and cover it over the top, so they cant be seen. If you get a decent set of compo's Put some in the front and then some smaller mid ranges in the back doors.

Your 6x9#s we become much clearer in the back if amp'd. same with up front, you wont want big bass up front, just some nice treble.

Dont get a 4ch and put them all on one. Just amp sub and 6x9's sepertate, then run comps off head unit.
