Never ever ever ever and i repeat never ever connect an amp battery direcly to your main battery (the one you use to start the car). You can try using a battery insulator(so they´ll charge with the main battery but your ice won´t drain it), it can be found cheaply at marine supply stores and then connect as many batt as you wish. It´s a basic series/parrallel circuit depending if you want more voltage or current, i got six in my Z in parallel.
