General i think its missing???

i have a punto go. 1.2 8v - 2002, 116k miles

when i drive the car it seems ok but slow. also it feels just a little bit rough when driving.

it starts and ticks over perfect.

or do you think im being silly as i have been driving a 2.0 tddi mondeo so thats why is feels missy

i just done the timing belt and plugs - thats all dead centre. shall i change the leads aswell as they are only cheap

That's alot of miles, when was last service. Will probably improve it loads! Oil and filter change, new plugs and leads, flush the coolant and clean throttle body. She'll last 10 times longer and 100 times smoother. If worried about being slow do a compression test, that will tell you if there's anything wrong with the engine

Are you sure the timing is spot on. It will run with it a tooth or so out, just not nicely.

i will re-check the timing again. how can i get it 100% spot on without the expense.

i lined the top pulley up to the marks, and also the bottom pully is lined up,
how do i now get it 100% spot on

also just cleaned the throttle body, new plugs, ill do leads 2moz i think.

Just do it carefully. Beware of parellax!

Once you set it turn the engine at least 5 full turns by hand and recheck to make sure its still right.
