Technical I Need Serious Help - 20v Engine Needed

Driving up the motorway today and ended up with a costly jorney home and a very poorly coupe stuck with the very nice Mr AA man. I would appreciate anyone's help or suggestions

It went for £800.

There was somebody breaking a fiat coupe 20v turbo I believe aswell, 115k on the clock though, you could ask if they still have the engine?

You could post on the "Parts wanted" Section of the Coupe forum (www.fccuk.org) and keep your eye on the "parts for sale", There's always breakers advertising engines from crashed coupe's etc.

look out for bravo hgt's as well, same lump
in fact find me a 20 vt for my bravo and you can have my na one

What has gone wrong with your current engine, can you post details and who/what company has your car currently? - you may be able to rebuild or even just replace the short block instead of getting a new replacement - if you are looking to getting a replacement then you may want to consider getting a recon unit from Fiat @ approx £1800+vat - these also carry a full 12 month warrenty.
