I have recently purchased my i.c.e, iv got 2 12" rockford fosgate subs 1000watt crunch amp and a pionerr p80mp headunit, its all running fine just need to get it looking better in the boot has anyone got any ideas on a boot build or something i really cant decide. Also does anyone know where i can get an upgraded alternator becasue of the power supply being tested when the big notes hit, iv got a punto 2002 mk2
PLEASE HELP!!!

Well do you have boxes with them already, are you wanting to do a full blown install or just somthing secure. I like the idea of false floors.

If you want any help let me know, i recently built a flase floor for mine, until I realized I might need my spare wheel somtime :)

Don't think you'll need an upgraded alternator just for 2 12" subs. Best bet us to get bigger inline fuse, the glass kind. Then maybe think about a power cap, do you run the sound system for long periods, with the engine off ??

I dont really run it that much with the engine off no! im thinking of a false floor and was thinking of making a section to fill the left hand side where the active sub used to be and i was thinking of bolting it in there and screwing the amp on what you think , the subs have got a double box yeh so there aint much point in doing a fibre glass build just something that looks smart and is secure how hard was the false floor? and do you know what it could be when i turn the car on the stereo doesnt turn on automatically i have to press it manually have i just wired the remote start wrong?

Well if you have a double box already not much point in making a proper flase floor, only thing you could do,. is make a semi fasle floor and sink you double box into it with the amp sunk into it at the front.....

not ard to do at all, just get a sheet of wood , cut it out to your boot size and screw come wooden batons legs at all 4 corners depending on how high u want it...ill go into more depth if you want in a PM

Your stereo, could be on a permenant live, check the connections at the back and see if the 12v live is connected with the switch live, this would make you stero live, as you as it is now.
