Any experts on sourcing difficult-to-find spare parts here by any chance?
I am (at this point - desperately) looking for a hydraulic valve lifter / adjuster for a multi air unit. The latter unit is used in a number of Fiat models (and also Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Jeep). The valve adjusters of this unit are NOT offered separately anywhere, yet buying a new multi air unit is not economically viable for me. So really I would be looking for somebody who replaced their unit (warranty job?) and have an old one that could be plugged for spare parts, like the one I am looking for.
Quite frankly I find it a disgrace that fiat & co. are not offering these parts separately, thus effectively bullying people into buying new units at the cost of $1000 (or over US $2000 in my case, as I live in Brazil where imported car parts easily double in cost, as compared to Europe or US). Sorry for the rant. And for posting here - I thought maybe the tech experts can help...
