right my punto has caused me to much problems now and i am completly fed up to the stage of giving the car away even though i love it.

im in a hpi agreement for another 2 years in april but have the choice of giving it back in april and calling it zero with the finance company...

i have paid over 2k in repairs from head gasket to cooling system etc. for a 30k car it has completly knackered atm.

any ideas if i could get out of it early or if they can help with repair costs etc?

Sorry, just caught up on this!

I think you have already got the gist of it by looking at the HP agreement - there is always a clause to give goods back once a percentage of the total amount payable has been paid - BUT this may end up as a black mark on your credit history, so be very careful before going down this route and check to see that the HP company will do.

How old is the car, btw? Purchased from new. May be too late to reject the goods now anyway.

Maybe worth speaking to a free legal helpline! You may get this with your bank/credit card, etc.

car is a x reg 2000 model.

i am not to bothered about my credit file...i have around about 13 default notices on it and 1 more wont hurt...i cannot get credit in the next 5 years anyway...dont ask long story.

wont be able to give it back..if i could i would with a nice red ribbon around it saying stuf u!

well i just been to a garage after i flipped the hood and noticed water pissing out the water pump by the enjine.

seems my water pump has gone.

could this be any relation to my power problem?
