Technical How to turn off FPS on dash.

well my lucks not getting any better with this dam car, 3 days after she got her MOT the clutch went again. its sat on my drive for about 1 month now, just tried starting it to get it to the guarage and now I've got FPS ON on the dash, I've had a look in the handbook and it says that the car thinks its had a smash, I've tried pressing the reset button but it doesn't feel like its up. I've taken all the carpet out of the car and the seats but I've just put the drivers seat back in. any ideas what I can try next?:bang: the sooner this car gets sold the better.

It may be the switch that has failed check that the switch has made is making the connections with a multimeter.

I've just taken the connector off the button and its wanting to start. the batterys dead so thats charging up. hope thats all it was

yep just put a new button on and its started. thanks mate.

FPS is often triggered by a low battery or old failing battery

bugger it could have been that then, nothing to do with the button, oh well, the new button was only £2.
