Technical How to remove door lock barrel

Hi could someone tell me how to remove my drivers side lock barrel the bit where the key goes in so I can take it to a locksmith who my friend knows and get a bit of broken key removed and also how do I refit the barrel back in I wan't to do the work myself as I can't afford any locksmith or anything if you can help me I would be very greatfull

Bottom line, you need to remove the door card to access the lock. A Haynes manual would be a good investment. Although an easy job, the book will prove to be a money saver in the future......

I already have a haynes manual but it is the Blue one I just wan't to know hwo to do everything

if working outside ibn this cold i would advise you get a heatgun/hairdryer on the mirror cover and speaker grille prior to trying to remove them because the retaining clips go brittle and shear off
quality superglue is then the way forward on refit i find
