Hi there I have a 2008 fiat 500 cup, how does everyone play music from there phone like Spotify, I plug in my cable and it cannot see it. I have bought a cable to plug into the back of the stereo and it works sometimes, any help will be great before I rip out the head unit and the blue and me.

Rip out the head unit and the Blue and Me, Honestly its Garbage.
With yours being an 08, if you're using an iPhone you needed a special USB adaptor to get date to work via a USB cable, these adaptors are obviously no longer made and sell for stupid money, as much as the price of a cheap head unit. The Blue and Me computers are constantly going wrong and killing the car's battery (gets expensive if you have a stop start battery)
So really you have already thought of the most appropriate fix, get rid and get it replaced !
