Technical how to find part numbers...

need a replacement breather pipe from between the airbox and rocker cover as my one is borken and causing me to leak oil at a rather alarming rate as it does not seal properly. In order for my garage to order me one in I need the part number though. can anyone help at all??

there is a metal panel under the bonnet sitting just above the right headlight try there.

or just go to the scrappy see if they have the same car with one on.

Why would the part number of a breather pipe be on a metal panel under the bonnet?

You can look up part numbers on ePER but the forum copy is not working at the moment. It you post your VIN, someone may look up the number for you.

Or if its easily removed take pipe into dealer, if they still cant identify the part then go to a decent parts department.

might try the fiat place if I can find it on monday on lunch break then. therer is still some numbers on the pipe but my mechanic said the dealers he gets parts from did'nt know which one he meant.
