Technical How to deactivate the passenger airbag?

Wondered if anyone could help!

We have a Sedici 1.9 MultiJet Eleganza (56 plate) and were wondering how to deactivate the passenger seat (we need to put a rear facing baby seat in the front).

Having googled it, it seems that there might be a deactivation switch somewhere? Has anyone had any experience of doing this or know where it is? It is something that you can do or only the dealer?

Generally speaking there is a key actuated switch in the glove box, for this purpose, another place I've seen them is on the side of the dash on the passenger side, visible only with the door opened.
Now I'm not familiar with the Sedici or the way you determine age of a car by the plate...I have seen old cars on which you can't turn the airbags off.

Best to check the manual, if you don't have one, look in the downloads section.
