Ok so I've swapped an 11 button steering wheel into my Stilo with the proper clock spring with the connector for the buttons on it. Ever since then my horn has never worked. I removed the steering wheel airbag earlier and found that the connector was not...connected...but that there was no free connecter behind there to plug into the horn I've attatched a pic to show the steering wheel I have, the red and black wires which have been clipped off I have recently discovered from a previous thread to in fact be for the horn This is how I got the steering wheel so I don't have the connector.
So I have my old clock spring which comes with the wiring for the horn, it also has two wires but they are not red and black So what I'm going to do is snip the wiring off my old clock spring and solder it to the two cut wires on the steering wheel, but I don't know which is which I guess it's safe to assume the red is the live and the black is the earth on the steering wheel, but which is live and which is earth on my 1.2's clock spring? The colours on my 1.2's horn wiring are; 1- brown and white and 2 - black and white.
Cheers in advance for whoever gets this
