ok, i know that its 2 pieces of metal weldedonto the bonnet then filled in with filler to smooth off

but

on chubbson's the bonnet over hangs the lights by an inch or so

but in this pic it doesn't

so in this pic hav the lights been moved back?
coz i wanna do mine like that^^^^^^

any hints or clues on help?

person who did chubbstons bonnet took the easy way out by pulling the bonnet over the lights before doing the badboy bit, (not sure if that made sense lol) rather than just straight corner of welded on metal kinda thing

yes he brought it over the lights and i think it made it loook better much better didnt have to change the lights or nowt

do u have to change/move the lites if u badboy the bonnet?

from what i understand of it no, you dont touch lights you move bonnet forward about 10mm on the hinges.

the lights stay where they are, you mould around the lights

i think on hippy cinqs cinq (the photo above) the headlights were actually moved back slightly to clear the bonnet

If you've removed the headlights on your own you'd see that moving them back would be fairly hard and costly.

do not move the lights

if you want a professional finish trake it to a bodyshop, otherwise, you could end up ballsing everything up

you could try it with fibre glass but it would most probably crack, but its a good alternative

wkd... on a slighty different note, is that a customised storm 1 bumper? u got it off lad in notts didnt ya?

i am gettin quite partial to that storm 1 kit, as i think i am gonna need some sort of bumper extensions to make my cinq look low enough! and especially as the rear bumper is made for a center exit exhaust!!! looks awesome.

still havent got round to meshing it look wkd wen thats done

i got it lowerd now and its quite low at the front skirts and rear bumper to
go on then will look luvly and low lol!
