Technical How should this look?

Hi all
I'm trying to get my Panda to handle better and want to reverse some of the things the PO did, but I'm not sure how It should all look. The leaf springs are attached to a big hanger at the rear ( PO had to cut away some bumper as it stuck out). I think he put in a raiser block but not sure if this is factory either. Also if I take the blocks away I will have to move the brake lines- is this right. Please have a look at the pics and give me your thoughts!

Yes those square bits in the first pic should be removed. The leaf spring sits directly at the plate on the axle. Like you say the hangers are alot larger than stock. I'm pretty sure I've seen new ones for sale somewhere, maybe at ricambi.co.uk or maybe ebay, not sure.
