Hi, I've got 50mm springs that I've had sitting around for awhile I will be ringing up the insurance to see how much it will go up by but wanted all your thoughts on how much it would go up if I put then on

No one can tell you about that other than your insurance company Liam as its all circumstancial from company to company and person to person. ;)

Hi,
It depends on each individual insurer. On our specialist modified vehicle schemes this modification would make very little difference.
If you need any assistance with your insurance then please feel free to drop me a line.
Regards,
Dan.

Youngest informed his insurance about lowering his car & they were OK as long as it was 50mm or less.
But, as has already been said, only YOUR insurance can tell you.
Some will be fine, others will throw a hissy fit.

Also bear in mind that insurance companies are constantly looking for ways out of paying up for repairs "you didn't declare that air freshener as a mod therefore..."

They're more than happy to take your cash now - but they may inspect your mod very closely if ever there was a time when you want them to pay out.

I have hired a public adjuster who does all the insurance work for me. From arranging a meeting to filing documents all. He knows which insurance company is good and which company has what coverage so he does it all.

As long as he doesn't muck up as it'll normally be you out of pocket.

I take it you still check all of the paperwork?

The exact amount will depend on your insurance provider. In most cases, this kind of modification will increase your insurance cost by a very small percentage. Contact your insurance adjustor to get the right information.
