Technical How Many Miles from a Full Tank (Sei Sporting)

Hi all,

I've got a Sei Sporting 1999 T Reg, and i swear its using too much fuel, surely i don't drive that badly...

How much should i expect out of a full tank when driving averagely?

'98 cinq, 120 miles to a full tank (£20ish, roughly full tank )

had hole in manifold and now hole in zorst, could this be that bad or is zorst affecting it?

What exactly is this lamdba sensor, and where do i find it, and i fi manage to (by some shere stroke of luck) manage to have the sense to find it, how can u tell if its messed up?

Mines now roughly about 41-43 mpg!!

Looks like having the service and more importantly getting the fuel pump gasket has paid off.

from the exhaust fanny mould, follow the pipes down - once they all combine, you should see a sensor stuck in the side of the pipe - thats the lamdba sensor as far as i know

It's looking like I'm gonna be near 40mpg on my turbo - haven't used a full tank to check yet though, due to the original tank being a bit swiss-cheesey. I don't rag it everywhere though (haven't got that much faith in it till I've finished sorting it), but don't hang about either.

I get 43 mpg thrashing the 1242 n/asp one about or 50 at a steady(ish) 85mph.

Yep, 41mpg in the 1108 turbo, that includes some severe thrashing but a fair bit of 70+:I cruising. Centos seem good on the juice at steady speeds.

if the ecu has been running rich for a long time will it be adjusting currently? or is there something else wrong? B)

Can you clean it easily?

Im not getting as much as I used to, used to get 200 miles from £15 but that really was driving carefully, the light is just coming on now, its just before the last marker and I've done 170 miles from £15. But I have been nailing it recently, trying to race a lexus is200 this morning and totally thrashed a 1.0 polo last night.
