General How many airbags in Marea sedan?

I came across a silly-priced Marea sedan 1,6. The owner seems to be mentally challenged. When I asked about the number of airbags, his answer was "6 or 8, I dunno". I asked about trim level (SX, ELX etc.) to no avail, he had no idea what I meant.
The year is 1997, the car was imported second-hand from Denmark some 10 yrs ago.
Is this number of airbags possible at all?

I'd have said it is, not aware of them having more than a set of front airbags, even then not all had passenger bags.

Sound like the seller doesn't know what they're talking about tbh.

Just to provide a wrap-up for the story:
It was ELX with 2 airbags. The airbag light turned on happily after coming off for several seconds. On the other hand, ABS light did not bother to turn on at all and - surprise, surprise! - ABS did not work.
The RH wishbone was knackered, the exhaust a result of some pipe hitting b**t**d getting medieval with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch instead of a welding machine.
Although the body was not rotten, the car never crashed and the engine seemed OK (that is, apart from a busted thermostat), the last drop was the absence of both blue keys and a CODE card.
I cannot be bothered with saving this one from the Chinese ironworks.
