Hi there,

Typical woman here!! I don't have a Haynes manual etc and have smashed my rear passenger light. Ordered replacement part today and need to know how to fit this light. Any ideas? Does anyone have an online manual for free or anything?

Help much appreciated.

Thanks

Claire :)...and no I am not blonde!! lol just a useless woman driver!

I hope your talking about the body of the car!!!!!! lol I smashed mine last Friday so believe me, its not looking very well!! women drivers and all!!!

I think he's referring to the fact that you added your email address to the page in all its spybot glory. Pretty soon you will be getting invites for all sorts of cheap medicines, erotic material and possibly been allocated $500,000 by microsoft bingo.

Ooops

Ohh I get all that spam anyway!! lol Viagra anyone!! I thought all you nice gents on here would be wanting to help a lady in distress, hence didn't realise about the email addy, should of put my other one on...DOHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Point is.............No one has told me how to replace my damn light!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol

Use a socket to remove the three bolts (10mm at a guess) from the back of the light cluster inside the boot. Once removed you are now free to gently press the old unit out.

If i have missed a step out it would be to remove the bulb access panel by rotating the wingnut type connectors. I can't remember if that part is required at all though.

A great big hammer works wonders! as demonstrated by robin at the weekend!

I like the hammer option!! Thats what I will be doing with the dented wing around the light!

God all you guys who take so much pride in your cars......you would shoot me if you saw my poor thing!

Decided to wash it when I first got it a few years back, wondered how to get the bird sh*t off the bonnet....so I used a scouring pad....yeap that did the trick.....nice pattersn in the paintwork too......lol

Shall I go get the blonde hair dye now????!!!!!!

Ok got the light this morning, now whos comming over to fit it!!! lol I buy you a McDonalds Happy Meal, and if your good you get to keep the toy!!!!
