Newish Volvos with stuck on indicators on thier bumpers, i nearly pulled out infront of one again tonight thinking it was turning but it wasn't. how can they be legal but people with neons get nicked or warned. if i see a car with neons i think, its a car with neons no hassle but these volvos its confusing and a distraction, don't seen right to me.

ive nothing against volvos just this issue.

its silly isnt it.

its like with tinted windows, a lot of new cars have a tint on the windows that is illegal - but the manufacturer are still allowed to sell them.. and the police turn a blind eye. But if it were an aftermarket tint, they'd do you for the same level

Cinq Sporting - and yes, its broom yellow!

i have to say i don't have a problem with side markers on volvos. there's a huge difference between these and blue or green lights.

Nor me, and consider the fact that after market tints are only illegal if they have a low light transmission and standard tints are always below this limit that is a false argument.

I think the lights down the side of the car are good like on most vans. I don't know how often you can misinterept themhowever.

I have nothing against these lights, but I think the point here is that if we went and retrofitted the same lights on to our cars, we would probably be quick to feel the wrath of the law, as there are strict guidelines about what lights you can fit to your car and where.
