How can I find out when my Fiat was built?

I'm trying to order an oil filter for my Bravo HGT. Annoyingly, Fiat changed the design midway through production and they aren't interchangeable.

The V5 docs tell me when my car was registered but not when it was actually built. It could have sat around at the dealers for 6 months before being registered etc.

How can I find out the date my car was actually built?

It should be on the inside of the driver side door jamb I think, that's a common place for the info.
