Hot summer day= tar on my fiat 500

I have tried water and a soft cloth to get splashes of tar from the lower part of my car but it seems stubborn to remove. Any suggestions guys? I would be grateful.

You could try some wd40 on a soft cloth. Failing that you can remove it with a clay bar. I use maguires but everyone has their own favourite brand. Don't forget to wax the area after you've removed the tar.

I wouldnt use clay to remove it, youre effectively dragging it all over the area you are claying which is like rubbing a stone across the paint! A waste of clay! Use some white spirit (its basically tardis without the rinse aid) it will remove it with ease, just rinse it all off afterwards! Although it will not damage fully cured paint in the slightest!
