I have a wierd problem, over the weekend, when stopping at lights or junctions and the car idles a wierd smell of cat **** comes through the blowers, i can't find anything dead in the car or on the engine, anyone got any thoughts?!!!

bugger, that's what i was afraid of! there's no damn thermostat in the car dash either! any ideas where it could be leaking from?

I had a very similar problem for a while, cut a long story short I had had the radiator cap off and don't think I had put it back on as tightly as I could have. It hasn't made that smell since I screwed it on tightly. Hopefully thats it cured for me, don't know if that would cause that sort of smell?! I only do short trips at the moment (2 miles a day) so did not notice overheating. Hope this helps.

i know that when the cat has gone on a car that it stinks to high heaven. So it could be that. Also pipes on a cinq that supply water to the yets on the bonnet tend to go from time to time. that where your water leak could be coming from?
