Signing in as there's a Scudo in the family now, Wheelchair converted, Air springs on the rear, all working great but wanting to convert back to norm suspension.
Seeing i'm the mechanical one, i'll be looking after it, Hence joining the forum for tips and advice.

Hi and WELCOME TO THE FORUM

You should find lots of useful information in the scudo section (y)

Funnily enough Ive been fitting some air springs on a Ducato today. Out of interest how come you're reverting to the original set up? The passengers not like the ride?

its got maurice air system on it with 2 leaky sacs, sitting on its stops every morning, also battery drain when left standing for prolong periods, Amp draw on vehicle is ok when checked so i presume the system is activating and running it flat. As temporary measure at the moment i've wired in relays to isolate AVC feeds to APC to isolate the system and to see if the battery state stays up. looking at the air sacs all i see is £ signs, same set up like a Discovery2. long term and cost effective solution i think is backward conversion, with the vehicle being the old mans i don't think he likes or trusts the system and would be happy without it, access with the chair at normal ride height is acceptable for him, he loves the van to bits but is loosing confidence on starting and air-spring issues.
Done many conversions on L/Rovers back to coil springs, i suppose Scudo's will be similar but i'm not familiar with their suspension set up and whats needed, 1st one i've worked on.
No doubt i'm at the right place to get it sorted!

Sorry to Alan for my bad grammar in the last post, i'm an old school Mechanic who does'nt do much typing/writing or computer work, i fix things although the amount of paper work that needs to be filled in nowadays is unreal!
