Stilo hi guys

hi guys, im 18 and have been looking for my second car for a while now, i had a mk3 rover metro, loved it but i crashed it so fallen out with metros now.... anyway my mum wanted me to get a more modern car obviously with cheap insurance, so i decided on a stilo!!! i have found a lovely looking one on ebay and he said he is saving it for me!! so picking that up saturday

anyway the stilo comes with a cassette player... will need changing and i was thinking has anyone replaced the whole cd player part with a tablet?? it looks big enough! if not i will have to experiment

be prepared for a few electrical niggles - so check EVERYTHING before you part with your money,
look at the FAQ's in the Stilo Section for ideas of what's just annoying and what's a disaster..,

Hi and welcome they do have their problems but overall there a lovey car to own and one of the few cars that actually looks good standard what size engine has this one got?

yeah i have read about the problems and they seem to have a few but i like to think im good with cars so not worried about that
just the 1.2, really low insurance group yeah i really like the look of it standard!! still have a few plans to do some stuff to it

the 1.2 is fine,
is that the 6 speeder..??

we test drove 1 for my son - due to great low insurance - however the FIAT dealer wanted far too much for a car that seemed to have big-ben behind the dashboard..

he then drove a 1.8 which HE LOVED.. unfortunately NOT insurable at his age ;-{

yeah im pretty sure it will be a 6 speed! it was for sale ridiculously cheap, only got 50k miles!! but thats twice as many as my old 20 year old metro had!!!!!

anyway im really looking forward to picking it up, first proper drive is nice 4 hour drive home haha

ah it should be alright, going to have my dad driving his car back as well anyway im hoping it will be lovely and reliable!!!
