First: excuse my bad English. I´m German and my English is a bit rusty.

Since several years I used to drive a Peugeot 806. But after several years driving it was too damaged, so that I moved it to the scrapyard.
After that I bought a Fiat Ulysse 2.0 16V built dec/1999.
Two days ago the connection of the gearcable to the gearbox broke.
Now I have to replace it.
Hope you can help me a bit

regards

Hi varesecrazy,

thank you for your reply.
Old Eurovans are getting rare in Germany too :-( Vans in good condition are rare, most vehicles need intensive and expensive service.
My car only needs some wear parts - and now the gearshift cables. Unfortunately its hard for me to do this work on my own, because I´d need a hydraulic lift and a buddy to give me a hand. First goal: I need to remove parts of the dashboard and the lower cover of th A/C. Where are the screews?
eper-parts could helm me a bit... but not complete ;-) and Repairmanuals are rare too ;-/

Ralf
