General Hi all, im a new, just few questions :)

just got myself a Standard, red/burgandy colour, 3door Punto sporting90 1.6i 8valve, 90bhp, single over head cam and its a nippy little car!

also own a 1.6 16v corsa Gsi which is rapid!
im registered with migweb.co.uk, and i have to say this site is very similar, if not identical to migweb!

i have just a few questions and would appreciate any help/advice...
what sort of brake upgrade is available for my car?
e.g bigger spec calipers and disks...at moment it has standard NON-vented disks! stopping power is very poor and scarry and not got ABS either!

fitted a old KnN to the punto and the throttle responce is better and car feels smoother.. it doesnt quite roar and growl like other cars though!
what else can i do to increase performance?
what is a good punto offset for alloys? would 17inch alloys go on ok?
any good websites for styling/performance parts??

Welcome to the forum
First thing is you might get very bad flaming when you mention corsa on this forum, some members seem to hate it. Brakes i sugest you use search for most of the answers, but punto gt brakes should fit right in.

i tried using the search function but only got a few previous posts come up!! is this site fairly new?

anyway from what i found im guessing the punto is ideal with offset ET35-40 with 16x7inch alloys and 17x7inch with some work

brakes... i guess using GT brakes would be better, but without ABS i would rather get bigger uprated disks and calipers??
somthing like a 2litre spec- 256mm disks with 24mm vented width? is this not a straight SWAP from say a brava or some of the bigger fiat cars which im sure have bigger more powerfull brakes??

You could try to manually read every post in the punto forum.You could try to fit Integrale disks(16V and on) as these have a 283mm disc, i know these have been fitted to pandas and Y10 should it should fit in considering i have a panda with punto gt disks. Hope this helps
