Hi all. I've just found this site while looking for a Cinquencento for the Mrs. I'm a Vauxhall man myself (Astra Sporthatch)
I've just bought a yellow '96 Cinq Sporting on Ebay, and should be picking it up tomorrow evening, is there any faults/problems I should look out for when inspecting it?

hi, welcome to the forum and fiat ownership, apart from normal every day things that all cars sufer from, check the head gasket is ok as there a common problem due to the small engine bay

Cheers guys. I guess the head gasket symptoms would be the same as for other cars, oiland water mix, mayo in the filler cap etc?

From what I have read they are poor on clutch and hand brake cables ..but quite reliable little cars on the whole
