well for the last two months i was thinking about saling the punto hgt but after all i had done to it i just never really wont to sale it cause i love the car. but then i fort if i dont sale it i would never get the car i wonted so up it whent on ebay and it just sat on the for about 10 watchers so the bid ended but and still never sold the car so end the end i sold it to a mate of mine...

so like to say thanks for all the help iv had on here over the months and have to say i enjoyed the hgt very much and would buy an other fiat but it would have to be the new fiat punto hgt abarth..:D:D..

any way about the new car it a clio 172 sport cup and it is f**king loverly to drive and f**K me fast as hell as well as you petrol head mite no the 172 cup is lighter than the standed 172 so it a true pockit rockit..:D...
and just keeps on pulling and pulling in ever gear and would eat the clio 182 a live any day even no it ment to be faster...

so i will be posting some pic up to day of the new car....:slayer:

cheers thanks..

I might consider a Renaultsport 172 cup if the HGT I have my eye on disappears before payday. Weirdly, despite producing 42 more BHP, it actually emite 3g CO2 less per km.

The only trouble is finding a clean example. Folk seem to look after their HGTs better.

My black HGT Abarth (67000 miles) was cleaned and polished very few paint marks and nice inside even the boot was spotless. dark tints on back windows. Tyres and wheels were good and it had a posh zorst (though not to my taste).
Clearly well looked after. MOTs went right back and the owner seemed to care about it.

The bad bits - anything under the bonnet and brakes had been ignored. Not counting the cam belt failure (my own fault for using it) its had:
# clutch
# battery
# brake discs and pads all around
# new radiator
# welding on floorpan for MOT
# rusty roof rack lugs
# And the zorst was bodged into place

AND - When I fitted a new clockspring to get the horn working I found out why the air bag light is on - Not the passenger side wiring loom isuue -
THERE IS NO YELLOW AIRBAG CABLE down the steering column

The car is now getting good but be very careful.
