Technical HGT Multijet HGT Glow plugs

Hey,

Recently picked up my 2004 HGT Multijet and it has 24k on the clock loving every minute of it even more so than the Panda 100HP but had a slight problem today....

When I turned the ignition key once for the glow plug light it came on and started flashing which its normally just a still light and followed by an error saying Glow Plug Failure... engine started fine with no problems...

Could this just be that I need a set of new plugs? My first oil burner!

It is possible there is maybe a problem with one of them, however if it is starting then forget about it.

"aint broke, dont fix it" springs to mind. Alot of JTD owners have said they have had that light come on for years and no problems yet.

If you are really concerned, get it on a diagnostic to read the code and go from there.
