Technical help

Right, I've had my car for just over 18mnths now. No problems so far (touches wood), but i'm going about upgrading the sound system. The problem i'm having is trying to find a suitable place to feed a power cable to an amp in the rear of the car. I looked at the engine bay and without doing a full dashboard strip i cant seem to find anywhere suitable? Anyone sorted the problem out yet?
