I have had an ongoing problem with my S reg Fiat Brava, the fuel injector light keeps appearing on the dash. When this happens the car is constantly jumping as I accelerate.
After countless bottles of STP Fuel Injection Cleaner I decided to take it into the Main Fiat Dealer.
I spent £70 to have it on the Diagnostics Machine to find out once and for all what was wrong.
After waiting all day they told me that is was a problem with the 'Main Throttle Body' and they quoted my £690 to fix it!!!!!!!!!

Any Advice on how this can be fixed without spending £690????

Did they mention exactly what was wrong with the throttle body?

Mods: Move to Brava/o tech?

a> Get a replacement throttle body from a scrapyard. £50 maybe?

b> Find out exactly what sensor has failed within the TB, get that from a scrapyard.

They didn't say the problem with the throttle body, just that I needed a new one.

Are they hard to fit??
