Hi all,
I just had the head gasket done on my 1.2 16v Stilo after she overheated on me 3 times (long story) after this was done there was still an engine fault registering. The diagnostic computer showed that the camshaft sensor was faulty. I changed it today and firstly the car became hard to start, the rev counter jumped to 5000 revs, then cut out. I brought it back to the garage and the diagnostic computer still showed up camshaft sensor fault! does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

Thanks,
Mick.

The 'long story' may be some help. All I can think of is rather than the sensor being faulty (which is unlikely given you;ve just put a brand spankers one on) it's the wiring going to it. Sorry I can't be more help, but electrics aren't my forte!
