help with tinting with the black dot's :o)

Hey everyone,

I have been trying to tint my rear-rear windows on my weekend so the dog has some protection.
Have got some film, and after a few attempts have a half decent tint on one window, only downer is the little black dots on the windows.

Around the edge of the window there are small black dots, I guess to blend the edge's in, but they keep air in between them, this means once the tint has been stuck down there is a lighter edge all the way around.

any ideas how to get over this?
