help with mk1 punto speakers

right ive got a mk1 v reg 60 s team. problem is though that the speakers on the drivers side dont work. ive tried swapping the back speaker with the passenger side one but it still didnt work. its got the standard speakers and headunit in so can anybody help me try and find the problem?

If you've swapped the speakers around and it still doesn't work then it's down to the wiring. Could be a loose connection at the back of the head unit or a split wire somewhere inbetween the HU and speaker. Also, might seem like I'm taking the ****, but check the balance on the HU isn't set to max on left!

i swapped them around the other day but it still did the same thing. then yesterday another speaker stopped working so now only one works. think ill have to check the wiring today

Sounds like it's at the head unit end.....check the speaker ISO block
