Let me first appologise if this question is rather stupid... :) But this is my first car ever, and I havent had that much experience repairing the car yet.

I have a Brava 1,6 from 1998, with a crached headlight on the driver hand side (in Sweden drivers sit in the left hand side of the car).

Does any of you have a step-by-step manual how to change the headlight unit. :worship:
I dont know if its true or not, but on another Fiat forum, I was told that there is no way to "just" replace the glass of the headlight, but that the whole headlight unit should be replaced.. Is this information correct?

Thank you in advance!

Haven't got a step-by-step on how to change it, but it is fairly easy. The cables tend to pull out or unclip and then you just need to undo the mounting bolts. Fitting is pretty much the reverse procedure and should be simple once you've got the old one out.

I'm pretty certain the headlights only come as complete units. I had to replace mine due to a cracked cover and just bought the whole unit (about £30 delivered from a breakers / scrap yard).

Good luck.
