Hi all - could really use some advice! Brought my punto 00 ELX in for a service this morning - it was at 46K - and has been running fine, no problems. when I collected it from garage and drove it away the revs suddenly started shooting up to over 5000 - I had to switch of ignition to stop it!
Doubled back to garage - revving reoccured twice on the way there, each time had to switch off iginition. Garage seemed baffled, said they did nothing in the service that could have done this. They fiddled about with it for about an hour, and said it was okay.
I drove it home (2 miles) and it did seem okay. Parked in driveway. About 3 hours later went to go out and car wouldn't start!
It was running fine before the service - what could have happened? And more importantly, what should I do now?
