General help, what engine is in my Panda?

Hi , recently bought a Fiat Panda clx 1996 (141GT53A) (zfa141a0001236323)
The registration papers indicate a 999cc but the manuel says 899cc.
Any ideas?

Hello.
It is an 899, unless something has been changed since time of manufacture.

Your chassis number indicates it was an 899cc (as used in Cinquecentos) car when manufactured. Although not impossible, it seems unlikely it would have been changed for a FIRE engine.
