Technical Help... Tunning Mods For Fiat Stilo 1.2

peeps i need help1 recently got a stilo 1.2 just wondered if you know the most effective way of tunning it without spending loads a cash

oh has anyone had nitrous, because it was an option till a mate said fiat engines blow up on a good day without adding nitrous

The engines are the strongest part of the car! I wouldnt tinker too much, just save for a bigger engine! If you really need to the best way is to use the GSR kits, the induction and then a re-map. But there will be little gain, you might as well just save for the 1.6 or 1.8!

£350 for map and induction, which see you see you around the 95+bhp with a moderate torque increase.

mines is the 1.2 2002 with 80 bhp an i should expect 15 bhp increase for £350

That would depend on who built the system and what you had done ..you wont get that much from a cat back system ..

i would plan to get rid of the cat and replace with bolt on de-cat pipe.where would you recommend to go for a straight through exhaust

Remove the cat and you would fail the emissions test on your annual mot ..your better off with a 200cpi sports cat .. I dont know where you are but these are very good
