Im trying to replace my old clutch with a new one, and i have spent all day trying to get the bell housing out and the gearbox and all that lot. My dad doesnt know what the 'swivel hub' is. Were working from a haynes manual and theres no pictures or anything, were completly stuck!

Haynes manual says 'unscrew and remove the bolts securing the left-hand
swivel hub assembly to the front suspension strut, then seperate the components and support the swivel hub on an axle stand'.

which part is the suspension strut? and the swivel hub? where are they located??
any help whatsoever will be greatly appreciated! were desperate, thanks!

HI,
The swivel joint, is the joint at the bottom of front suspension. Undo pinch bolt, remove, then lever suspension arm down to split joint. You need to do this to get drive shafts out of the way.

Good Luck
