Ok, so last week my 53 plate sei sporting just died on me.
It was showing an immobiliser fault on the dash (amber key) The car was trying to turn over but nothing was firing.
My local Mechanic has had it for a week and is saying that the ECU wont let his diagnostic in.
Now tomorrow i've got to pay to have it towed back to my house and i'm non the wiser.
I've seen complete ECU barrel and immobiliser sets on EBAY but another Mechanic his saying that I could fork out for this and still find that i'm no better off once it's fitted and that it is more than likely a wiring fault and that he can test to see if this is the case.
one way or another i need the car sorting this week as I need him running again, I miss him.
Thing is i've only got the one key and i dont think that it is the master key as it has not got any marks on it to show it would be.
