help oil leak

seicento had service thursday they found oil leak on cam gasket thingy, paid £70 today leaked on drive!
got to drive to devon monday am .... what do i do!

A new gasket is a couple of quid, sealant about the same.
Clean it up, wipe all the oil off the faces, sticky it up with the sealant and bolt it back up. I'd offer to give you a hand if you were a bit closer!

This one is nothing to worry about. When you fit a new gasket, do NOT tighten hard. Just use the same amount of torque with a spanner as when you screw the cap tight on a coke bottle. If new leaks, tighten a bit more.

I used Hermetite Blue Silicon sealant to re-seal my sump 2 years ago and it did the job.

If I were you I'd take it to the place that serviced it and demand that they sort it, seal it with the proper silicon-based sealant AND top the oil up!
