General HELP! Fiat Abarth 595 alarm going off.

Hello fellow forum readers. I must admit, I am new to this site. Myself and my neighbours' ears are currently bleeding due to an issue with our car alarm. My other half owns a Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione. He disconnected and reconnected the battery and now the alarm is going mental. We've been 'Googling' advice all morning but to no avail. Please, is there anybody who can help? I'm am currently searching for earplugs and alcohol to keep the neighbours sweet but I'm worried for 'im indoors' sanity.

You have my sympathies , however surely it would be an open invitation to car thieves to post on a public forum how to disable an Abarth alarm ? I suggest you either remove the battery completely ( Leaving the car unprotected , but quiet! ) and call in an auto electrician to sort the issue. Lets face it , the car is a favourite for joy riders so unable to help. Sorry.

What if you lock and unlock the car manually with the key in the doorlock?

I realised that it probably wasn't the best idea to ask about disabling car alarms! It's all fixed now thanks

I'm still a bit interested. Not how to disable the alarm, but how you got it reset to doing what it's supposed to do.
