I replaced the entire electrical system in my fiat 124 spider turbo. When cleaning up a bit in the engine bay, I noticed this wire tucked down out of sight (blue circle). The wires from the coil I labeled when I removed them. Anyone know what this is? See picture.

I may be wrong but it looks a bit to new compared with the Fiat wiring, more like an aftermarket addition, can you trace it inside the car? Perhaps an anti theft system?

Difficult to see in the picture, but does it have the same black sleeve as the coil wire? It may be the Lambda sensor wire going back to the ECU. Usually the wires with the black sleeves contain white wires within, and numbers printed on them. They are part of the standalone injection loom.

Found my answer! Apparently it's a ECU diagnostic wire. Apparently these cars have a lot of connections in the harness that don't go to anything...
