HELP - Alarm led stays on deactivation

its a std fiat alarm on a 1.8 bravo.

checked the bonnet and boot switches.

Help req plz.

mine does this occasionally its a punto though.
might be the same alarm.
i found that when you disconnect the battery 15-20 minutes or so, the light stops doing this.
maybe worth a try.

did you mean it comes on when you turn the ignition on?
mine did.

Could it be that its just the LED that's gone, set the alarm then open the boot.

it stays on till the key is inserted and turned to read the keycode.

Mines doing the same. My understanding is that this means that your alarm has been tripped at some time and that disconnecting the battery for a while will reset it. Not tried yet as it works and I cant be arsed.
