General Help a Newbie with a warning light pls

Hi,

Kind of new to the forum, basically got a Q on the misses punto, shes on here but not very much! lilcutelips

anyway punto 1995 M reg 1.2 75 sx, had been off the road for a few months until i got driving it while my clio rsi was in the garage

we've noticed a couple of things,

1. something rattles under the car, sounds to be near passenger side door area, haven't had time to get under it yet 2 find out, happens over bumps

2. handbrake light, will come on with handbrake all the way down, round corners and also sometimes when accelerating, i'm guessing thats just a loose connection somewhere as brake fluid level is all gd

so where is the handbrake sensor bit that would put that light on?

any other info pls?


also looking at maybe getting a punto GT as nxt car, gd choice? main problems with them?? what to look for?

the rattle could be teh handbreak cable. may be related to your light issue.

Is the brake warning light brake pads as well as fluid level?? I can't remember but we had a similar problem on a uno, i don't think it was handbrake or fluid. Long time ago that was though so I'm sure someone can correct me.
