Hi, i've joined the forum on behalf of my son who has a 2000 Punto Sporting (first car). It is fitted with a non-cam sensor engine but the ECU etc is from a cam sensor version. Someone has changed the engine at some stage. We have been told that we need a complete c/s engine but i am wondering if just the cylinder head will suffice as this contains the 'cassette' that contains the sensor. I look forward to reading your replies

If all the wiring is still there it should be the same as an 8v shouldn't it? Just get the rocker cover for a cam sensor engine and plug in
