Hello guys, I'm from Brazil and the I'm the happy owner of a brand new Bravo, White Banchisa. Here the version is called Essence and it is the "basic" version.
Even though, it comes with front air bags, ABS, EBD, air conditioner, eletric steering, etc , etc......
Mine has some extras, the Blue & me, chrome on the doors "handles" (don't know the right word), leather seats, door panels and steering wheel and steering with 8 commands.
The engine is a brand new engine in fiat Brazil. Before the "big block" was an 1.9 liter flex fuel (132cv) made in Argentina used on Linea and to Punto, Stilo, Idea, Palio and all the others an GM 1.8 liter flex fuel
:bang: (115cv) was the limit.
Now fiat Brazil has bought the Tritec factory, it used tobe the maker of the BMW - Mni 1.6 liter NA and turbo engines. These 1.6 has given origin to two new ones: 1.6 (117cv) and 1.75 (132cv) liter, both 16V and flex fuel. Bravo and Linea only use the 1.8 and all the other has both options. The engine is really nice and revs really nicely and smothly. It has many differences from usual Fiat engines like one cam for all the valves and chain on the cam not toothed belt.
I'll get the car on the next wednesday..... really anxious for it!
